WHAT IS THE PURINA INSTITUTE MICROBIOME FORUM VIRTUAL EVENT?

The complexity of microbiome science can sometimes obscure the translation of research findings into useful applications.

The Purina Institute Microbiome Forum Virtual Event is dedicated to providing clinically relevant microbiome science for practicing veterinarians. Topics for the 2024 event include:

  • Microbiome-centric approaches to chronic gastrointestinal signs
  • Diagnosis and treatment of invasive and luminal Escherichia coli
  • Diarrhea management without antibiotics
  • Dietary trials and food-responsive enteropathies
  • Microbiome shifts in health and disease
  • Tryptophan metabolism and the gut microbiome
  • How the microbiome alters drug metabolism

WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND THIS EVENT?

  • Learn from globally renowned veterinary experts at the forefront of microbiome research and how to apply this knowledge to clinical practice.
  • Learn best practices you can immediately apply to veterinary case management.
  • Learn about evidence-based, clinically relevant microbiome science in a non-product-promotional setting.
  • Expand your practical knowledge of the intestinal microbiome and its roles in gut health and disease.
  • Earn up to 6 hours of continuing education (CE) credit in jurisdictions that recognize RACE approval when attending the live event (CE is not applicable to on-demand recordings)!
